Summertime’s the best time for Story Time! The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites children to Summertime Story Time every Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Children will gather on the Story Time quilt and enjoy a variety of entertaining stories under the shade of the trees in the library yard. No registration is needed: the program begins July 6 and ends August 10. For more information please call the library at 860-445-0392.

 

Can’t make it on Tuesday mornings? Look for our special library reader under the trees at Eastern Point Beach at 1:30 pm on Thursday afternoons. Soak up the sun and a few good books this summer. Sun Sand and Stories begins July 8 and runs through August 12. Beach pass is required for entrance to the beach.

 

The Bill Memorial Library is located at 240 Monument Street in Groton, near the Groton Monument and Fort Griswold. The library, now more than 100 years old, has an extensive collection of books and media for adults and children. Visit their web page at http://billmemorial.org.
